Molecular Nutrition
Aggeliki Alexiadou was born in Drama, where she spent all her school years. She is a graduate Dietitian – Nutritionist of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITH) and a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders & Obesity, specialising in the nutritional management of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and psychogenic obesity, from the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED), UK.
This enables her to offer nutritional support to people with eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and psychogenic obesity, in collaboration with a psychologist.
She has also attended numerous conferences on childhood obesity and sports nutrition, and continues to attend conferences and seminars on the nutritional health of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Her internship took place at the dietetic office of the President of the Panhellenic Association of Nutritionists and Dietitians, in the center of Thessaloniki, where she was initially given the opportunity to come into direct contact with the subject of her studies.
From February 2007 to September 2012, she worked in a multi-functional weight loss center as the Head of the Dietetic Department. This position provided her with extensive professional experience as she dealt with a very large number of cases, both pathological and physiological, regarding nutrition.
Since September 2012 she has run her own office in the centre of Drama, at G. Papandreou 25, and since 2023 also an office in Thessaloniki, at Pavlou Mela 28. The offices are equipped with modern equipment for body fat analysis, metabolism measurement and oxidative stress measurement.
She has been a member of the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians – Nutritionists since 2006, of the Hellenic Medical Association for Obesity (HMAO) and of the Diabetes Association of Northern Greece.
She has repeatedly been invited to present nutrition topics on television (Alpha, Makedonia TV) and radio programmes. She is a regular contributor to news programmes on public and private television.
