EMS after pregnancy

EMS after pregnancy

High-intensity focused electromagnetic technology consists of a powerful, innovative device (EMS) that causes supramaximal muscle contractions that cannot be achieved through exercise.

The EMS PRO has 4 applicators, which are placed on areas of the body and emit electromagnetic waves that make the muscles contract. The muscles are exercised normally, without straining the joints.

In addition, the frequency and intensity of the current used are very low and not at all harmful to the body. The use of EMS is therefore completely safe, causes no pain of any kind, and the body is not at risk of further problems.

Training using EMS after pregnancy is considered quite suitable and safe for restoring physical fitness and the body in general, because through the comprehensive sessions (lasting 30'), it stimulates the pelvic floor muscles, the muscles of the legs, abdomen and buttocks without additional burden, compared to the conventional method of exercise.

This is because training with weights and resistance places an additional load on the skeletal system, whereas an EMS session requires no extra equipment.

The intensity of the device is set completely individually and increased gradually, so that the desired results are achieved safely and maintained in the long term.

As the intensity increases, the contractions become stronger, activating even the deeper supporting and stabilising muscles of the body, and the result is immediately visible.

Through the muscle contractions in the upper and lower abdomen, the EMS device helps the rectus abdominis recover and strengthen quickly.

The rectus abdominis lies in the centre of the front abdominal wall and holds the abdominal contents in place. After pregnancy, many women experience marked separation and slackening of this muscle because of the great pressure it is under during pregnancy.

The use of EMS plays an active part in correcting this condition, replacing what until now was the only option: the surgical procedure known as abdominoplasty.

Always the combination of a balanced diet, good hydration, quality hours of sleep and systematic exercise will help the body gradually return to pre-birth levels and maintain the desired results in the long term!!
