THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY NUTRITION

The importance of a healthy diet

Food is our body's only fuel. In order to maintain all of its cells, but also to be able to meet the needs of everyday life, the body requires energy, which it receives from the combustion of the food it consumes.

However, in order to maintain all of its cells at a healthy rate of operation, and for energy to have a straight line of high percentage, the quality of food plays a primary role. Consuming all groups of the food chain ensures the intake of all the macronutrients and micronutrients that the body requires to perform its functions.

By achieving a healthy nutritional model, based on the needs of each body, we have multifaceted benefits that are initially reflected in mental and physical well-being.

Adequate and complete nutrition is the basis for productivity, inspiration, clarity and avoiding the feeling of fatigue and exhaustion. Just as a vehicle works best with high-quality fuel, so does our body. Each nutrient has a specific role in the homeostasis of the human body, and each body has its own individual needs which are important to be covered through nutrition.

A complete and balanced nutritional plan helps maintain a healthy body weight and avoid obesity and high body fat percentage. This has a direct positive impact both psychologically and physically.

A balance between refined and whole-grain carbohydrates, as well as regular and organized mealtimes, sets the foundation for a good mood. Research shows that people who skip breakfast and eat irregular meals are more likely to suffer from depression.

In an era when chronic diseases are responsible for the decline in living standards, a balanced diet is the answer. It protects against degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, strengthening the ability to concentrate, learn and remember. In combination with a healthy body weight, it reduces the chances of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and inflammation of the body. Subsequently, we have better indicators regarding the risk of various types of cancer.

It should not be overlooked that food and the relationship we have with it are inextricably linked to socialization. Feeling and being healthy has a direct impact on our interpersonal relationships, while allowing ourselves to enjoy a meal with friends without guilt and within the context of a balanced diet gives us beautiful moments and strong memories connected to all our senses.
