Virus Recovery

Virus Recovery

These days there is an abundance of colds and of course the virus that we have been trying to fight for some time, covid-19. The body's defense is everything! A healthy immune system fights our exposure to the virus faster and more gently, which is why our goal is to eat properly and provide our body with the shield it needs.

So let's see what we can do the moment we catch a cold:

  • It is important that the patient remains isolated in his room.
  • The body's shield is the variety of vitamins. Consumption of fruits, vegetables and supplementation with multivitamins (individualized).
  • Plenty of water. Hydration is very important, we drink plenty of water. However, tea, fruits, vegetables and soups also provide us with hydration.
  • Sleep! Cell regeneration through sleep helps even more. We need quality and good sleep.
  • Eating hot soup is the ideal meal for the patient. Be careful that the temperature is not too hot!

And just when we've managed to get over the cold, we continue to feel an unpleasant fatigue. What can we do about it? So, recovery!

  • We begin a gentle exercise very well dressed.
  • We continue to drink plenty of water, fluids, fruits and vegetables, etc.
  • We consume probiotic products, e.g. milk, kefir, etc.
  • We protect our immune system throughout the year.
  • We are careful with cold brews.
  • We consume protein, carbohydrates and good fats (unsaturated – polyunsaturated)
  • We consult our Dietitian - Nutritionist for a personalized nutrition plan

Don't leave your body idle after the flu! Get informed and build your defenses!
