Healthy ginger shot

Healthy ginger shot

Spring is one of the favourite seasons of young and old. However, the weather still tricks us, leading to seasonal flu and of course many allergies.

A strong immune system helps us deal with viral infections and acts as a wall of immunity. Our aim, then, is to build this wall by creating a healthy nutritional profile. But how do we build it?

  • Through a balanced diet
  • Through physical activity
  • By eating fruit and vegetables
  • By drinking enough water
  • By resting body and mind
  • By creating a calm environment without anxiety and stress
  • By reducing salt and eating out
  • By reducing saturated fats, etc.
  • By always eating breakfast for more energy and plenty of vitamins.

It is also very important to take care of our hygiene and a few other things, such as:

  • First of all, we take care of cleanliness and proper body hygiene, e.g. thorough hand washing and frequent showers, as well as clean living spaces. In particular, we regularly change pillowcases and sheets and vacuum and mop often.
  • Good rest is essential – at least 8 hours of sleep.
  • If you suspect you are ill, keep the necessary distance from others.
  • Air your home well while you're out by leaving one of the main windows tilted open.
  • Don't rush to bring out your summer clothes! However wonderful the temperatures seem, summer isn't here yet.

With all of the above, we protect ourselves as much as possible, always paying attention to both our diet and our hygiene. An extra help can be a healthy ginger shot, full of flavour and antioxidants, in a single shot glass.

Method: Add a little ginger, cayenne pepper, honey, cinnamon and orange juice to lukewarm water!
