I always make sure my diet is clean and organic. This means trying to eat as few processed foods as possible, choosing local and seasonal ones. This way I get better nourishment and nutrient absorption and reduce my intake of additives, unnecessary calories and substances that burden the body.
One of my favourite products is anthotyro: a traditional, tasty Greek white cheese that is very low in salt and fat. This means it has far fewer calories than other cheeses, without lacking nutrients.
It is a rich source of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and vitamins A and D.
MENOIKIO organic anthotyro is a soft cheese made from 100% Greek goat and sheep whey from organically raised animals in my home region, which is why I trust it. It is eaten fresh, has a grainy, fluffy texture and can enrich many of our meals with nutrients, protein and flavour.

With a little imagination we can use it in salads, pies and tortillas, serve it with our meals instead of the classic feta, or enjoy it as a dessert with honey, fruit and cocoa or cinnamon.
With the holidays coming, I'll share my recipe for the most Christmassy salad with anthotyro.
Materials
Green salad mix (arugula-lettuce)
2 oranges, peeled and sliced
1 cup Aegina pistachios
1 cup pomegranates
1 cup Organic Anthotyro MENOKIO
For the Vinaigrette
½ cup fresh orange juice
4 tbsp honey
3 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp mustard
A little salt
Black pepper
Bring colour, healthy choices and imagination to your festive tables.
Enjoy!
