It's a fact that every year in the days before Christmas and New Year's we get anxious about our diet and holiday tables. We worry about what we're going to eat, how we're going to handle our family and our appetite, and how we're going to avoid overeating and gaining weight.
I am here to tell you that all of these are things that should not concern us, let alone stress us. Holiday tables exist and are meant to bring us closer to our loved ones, to prepare and try new flavors and food choices in a festive atmosphere. It is a way of socializing, having fun and escaping the intense routine of everyday life.
After all, it's not the holidays that make us fat, but our lifestyle and choices. If we follow a balanced diet all year round, we are healthy and we don't have to be afraid of eating and trying something extra during the holidays. It's for our joy, it's for our mental health!
Of course, it would be very helpful for our bodies if 2-3 days before the holidays and our vacations, when it goes without saying that we will all mess up our diet plan, we were a little more careful and frugal with our food choices.
So to help you, I've prepared a 2-day detox plan so that we're completely ready for the holiday tables, both physically and mentally. That way, we can enjoy them as they deserve!
